Jean Holley is a decisive, results-driven global business executive with experience successfully leading companies as a Board Director, committee chair and executive in a wide variety of industries. She has led board director and executive management search, strategic plan development, digital transformations, turnarounds, operational efficiencies, acquisitions and divestitures and cyber security programs. Her leadership style drives measurable results through the eyes of the customer while balancing shareholder interests.
She serves on the Board of Directors for Herc Holdings, provider of equipment rentals and services. She is on the Board, Compensation and Nom/Governance committees and previously served on the Audit and Finance committees. Jean also serves as Board Director for Accord Financial Corp and is chairman of the Compensation committee. Previously Jean served as Board Director for OneSpan, a global provider of enterprise-wide security solutions. She was the Chairman for the Nom/Governance committee, served on the Compensation committee and the Audit committee.
She is the former Global CIO for Brambles, global leader in supply chain & logistics solutions. She was a member of the global executive team, responsible for technology trends and industry futures including Big Data/Analytics, cyber security, digital strategies and disruptive technologies. Jean was directly responsible for execution of business/IT strategies, acquisition strategies, and global IT operations.
Prior to Brambles, Jean served as CIO for Tellabs, CIO for USG Corp and various leadership positions for Waste Management, Digital Equipment Corp and Inland Steel.
Jean previously served on Sapphire Ventures Advisory Board, Georgia CIO Advisory Board in Atlanta as well as the board of trustees for Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) and Missouri University Science & Technology. She worked on multiple key strategic including renaming and rebranding the university, marketing to emphasize STEM increasing engineering and technology enrollment.
Jean serves on a Presidential special task force for Covid and received Humanitarian Service Award for Leadership. Jean was inducted into the Women in Science & Engineering Hall of Fame at Missouri University Science & Technology, where she also received an honorary professional degree. She received the Georgia CIO of the Year award, Spotlight Award from the Chicago Software Assoc, has been listed by ComputerWorld as one of the top 100 CIOs, and received the “CIO of the Year” award from the Assoc of IT Professionals (AITP).
